From the M5

Leave at Junction 26 and at the roundabout take the exit signposted to West Buckland.

In West Buckland and at the end of this road turn right at the T junction.

Cross over the M5 and follow the road up the Blackdown escarpment. Keep on this road and ignore the junctions with other roads.

At the top of the hill you will have to give way at a T junction. Turn left (onto the Chard Wellington Road). After 0.5 mile leave the Merry Harriers Public House on your right.

Continue for about 0.5mile and you will suddenly come upon two white posts directing you to "Burnworthy Manor". Turn right here and after 200 yards turn left leaving the white posted entrance to Burnworthy on your right.

Proceed for 0.5 mile down a narrow, leafy lane. Strawbridges Farm (a large white building) is at the T junction at the bottom of the lane.

From the A303

After the Ilminster Bypass the A303 starts climbing the Blackdown Hills. After approximately 4 miles from the last roundabout the road levels out and shortly after you will see the Eagle Tavern on your right. Turn right here and continue on this road (the Chard Wellington road) for approximately 6 miles until you have to give way at a crossroads.

Go straight over the crossroads and after 0.75 mile you will have to give way at a T junction. Turn right and leave the Holman Clavel Public House and caravan park on your left. You will quickly arrive at another crossroads where you give way and proceed

straight ahead.

After about one mile you will come to a crossroads after you leave the tree lined section of road. Turn left here signposted Churchstanton. Strawbridges Farm (a large white building) is 0.5 mile at the bottom of this road.

If you use SATNAV/GPS experience dictates it will take you to Churchstanton Church which is 2 miles away!

If you follow other signs to Churchstanton you will also end up at the church!
